Although I still had a crash to desktop or two, games have taught us all to save constantly just in case of this. Also the game autosaves itself after just about every loadup.

After the total bullshit of that one sewer level, which took sewer levels to a new low, the missions got back to good after running around Chinatown. Plus clearing up the rest of the old quests I left unfinished everywhere else. Interesting zombie fights where aiming for the head bypasses the whole stat and hit points offsets and blows them to pieces or drops them hard.

There was a mansion mission I saw Jsoh, playing an ugly as HAYUL Nosferatu, stealth kill, slice, and blast every muthafucka in his way. When I got to the same part, I had conversations with everyone instead, and had a character lead me into the basement for a few more zombies. She was all, THEY DON'T ATTACK UNLESS PROVOKED, TEE HEE ISN'T THIS PLACE WEIRD? WOW WE HAVE SUCH FUN. But then they were attacking me, and she was like OH NO WHAT IS GOING ON. For the crime of being stupid beyond belief, I sucked her dry for valuable blood and then headshot left and right, getting some items that raise stats, clear quests, and give an experience bonus. Then a boss fight with two dudes.

Pro: accomplishing something in game like destroying a zombie-based cult of diseased vampire zombie whatever the fucks that were diseasing people throughout the city feels pretty rewarding.

Con: taking it to the WIYULD SIDE and wrecking some major shit isn't as satisfying when the areas you do it in are pretty bland. In a game with the Havoc physics engine built right in (thanks to some other game developer company whoever they are!), almost nothing moves around, and having to pick up debris and throw it aside to move through is a chore. Slipping on spare broken planks of wood like they're ice sucks.

Pro: they really did try to cover all bases of gameplay, either going in stealth, going in blasting, or talking your way through.

Cons: bugs really screw up lots of scenes, either dialogue or the very clunky scripted sequences.

Pro: it's a good feeling to make someone do something with some convincing talking.

Con: it seems like some of the dialogue options in necessary conversation are just two things to say with the exact same outcome, for no apparent reason. Unless it's just me always raising the talking stats so I get more options besides being an asshole or whatever.

JUST MORE STUFF TO ADD TO THE REVIEW

This is a very long game.
