I am reminded of the story (which I might have posted already) about my friend who had like a 2.8 ghz with a gig of ram and super awesome vidya card. I watched behind his shoulder as he played the then at the time new Far Cry demo I couldn't even run and wow it looked so amazing with the graphics maxed at 30 fps.
Then he proceeded to get his ass handed to him about 8,000,000 times by the second group of enemies. I would say the game was hard but actually, he just used unsound tactics. He drove his dinky boat off to the left side of the beach with the one rock for cover while the enemy gunboat was still alive, and they just chewed him up over and over. He quit shortly after he had crawled far enough away from his one rock to get the game to autosave, so he was instadoomed. |
