I want more of this stuff going in the NBA. I want a return to the NBA of the 1970s, when guys like Earl "Clyde" "the Pearl" Monroe wore fur suits to the games and fistfights broke out nightly. David "Clyde" "the Jew" Stern is largely credited with rescuing the faltering league by putting an end to the fighting and cocaine use, and highlighting the stars (namely Magic, Bird, and Dr. J) over the teams. Jordan coming along in the mid-80s didn't hurt, either.

But these days the NBA is just so goddamned boring. The biggest thing in the NBA last year was whether Shaq and Kobe could get along. Did anyone really give a fuck about that? I know I didn't, and I live in LA. I don't like either of those guys, or anyone else playing currently. I'd much rather see them charging into the stands every single night of the season (and what the hell, let them come brawl in the stands during baseball season, too) than try to get through one more high-scoring, slamalicious borefest.

Also, they should let every single player knock one of Bill Walton's horse-toothed teeth out, until they're all gone.
