That's not a real spoiler, go ahead and look at it. (actual spoilers here) by Jhoh Clbbl O_____O 09/26/2007, 12:43am PDT At the end you blow up another halo, what's supposed to be a reconstructed version of the one destroyed in Halo 1. When you are driving to an escape ship as the halo is blowing up it's pretty cool because instead of explosion sprites going off on walls, you have floors collapsing and blowing up (premade floor panels granted, but it still looks nice) and eventually see giant towers fall over and shit, so that's neat. This is after you have a fight with that Halo probe drone thing that floats around from Halo 1, you finally get to destroy that fuck. In a very George Lucas move, it does more bobbing with each word enunciation, which looks dumb. What follows is just more dumb. You escape the exploding halo which destroys THE ARK, which they still don't really describe what the fuck it is and who the forerunners were (there are hints that the forerunners were what humans descended from, maybe, but that information is really only in wikis or the fuckin halo books or some shit, nice leaving your game's story OUTSIDE YOUR FUCKIN GAME YOU FAGGOTS). Then you get to the ship and escape. You see the arbiter, the friendly alien who joins up with humans, at the grave for the humans who died in the big war, and Ron Perlman is there voicing a model who's modeled after himself, and they are like IT IS TO BAD THE MASTER CHIEF IS DEAD, and on the grave it closes in to show that "117" is scratched onto the grave, which is supposed to be your designation, the designation aside from master chief, master chef, masturbate, john117, spartan 117, fuckin whatever, it's like the Resident Evil movie where the chick has 5 fuckin names, none of which are even used in the movie. So the master chief is dead. Credits roll. After the credits, he's alive, half of his ship was cut off and thrown somewhere else and Cortana sends a distress beacon and supposedly they could be years from being found. PERHAPS A SEQUEL OOOOOOO CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS AMAZING STORY TO BE CONTINUED. Psh yeah right. Even the Half-Life games have more exposition than the Halo games. Also, the Half-Life story is good and the Halo games just ripped them off. The vortigaunts being freed by nihilanth's death is something you have to either assume or just not even think about, but it is interesting and seems to fit with the interesting characters and NPCs having friendly reactions and you get to see a vortigaunt stirring soup with a chef's hat on. ^__________________^ The elites seceding from the covanant and THE GRUNT REBELLION and shit like that is just goofy like a fuckin goofy ass animoo cartoon though and it is laughable in its attempt to seem serious or important or I dunno but it's sad to think that they clearly have some talented designers and coders and developers, and they did all that work??????????? FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
