I still can't get over some of the physics stuff. Killing people with magnetic cranes and trailers is what all games should be about. I'm also glad they came up with a sort-of decent reason to have all those traps around Ravenholm -- even if the mere existence of it doesn't really make any sense. Like they glued really cool bits together that didn't always fit into the overall plot.

Yeah, that's why I said "they came up with a sort-of decent reason to have all those traps". I was talking about the existence of Ravenholm as a plot point, it's really kind of out of nowhere and is probably a function of how Valve developed it, with their independent "cabals" or whatever, i.e. Cabal 3: "let's have a level with sawblades and traps and a crazy Russian priest!" Writer guy: "Okay. Hmm."

On an unrelated note, I really like the touch of it moving from day to night to dawn as you move through it.
