5. When you hit the "climb" prompt in RE4, you watch a cutscene of leon climbing the ladder. In God Hand, Gene just jumps 30 feet up to the top.
4. The Bosses! Absolutely no fucking "Hit this hotspot to expose the vulnerable core" puzzle bosses!
3. Resident Evil 4 is the first baby-step away from the shitty survival horror controls of "Alone in the Dark" towards becoming a barely-functional FPS. God Hand takes the best NES game of all time, "Mike Tyson's Punchout," and expands it over entire freeranging levels with mobs of enemies to beat up.
2. In God Hand, you don't have to first shoot a guy in the face before delivering a powerful roundhouse kick that knocks groups of enemies back.
1. Shooting enemies in the nuts does nothing special in RE4. Kicking a guy in the nuts in God Hand makes a "ding" sound effect, stuns them, turns their face blue, and triggers a laugh track. |
