 Making an S out of a lightning bolt is old hat, but has anyone ever made an L? Probably not, because it looks awful. This artwork must be a little later on in my teen years because now I'm using ballpoint pen with rebellious abandon, even colouring in the letters. I tell you what, the StormLord floppy still worked great. This probably encouraged me to challenge THE MAN even more. What OTHER lies was I being fed all these years?! *Cranks Sepultura*
Speaking of metal, you can see the terrible influence all over this label, however it was not entirely my idea. I was sticking to the StormLord style, which was all about Heavy Metal -- not the music as much as the silly magazine/comic where dwarven mages quest for sex with beautiful amazon welders/dinosaur riders.
Some of you may recall this slow and ponderous platform game on the Genesis, but the nudity was removed with the addition of metal bikinis.
I hope I made it to that Queen & Spadina appointment on time. |
