They will probably have it at the store when you come back for the money. Maybe some guy has his computer in it already, or maybe even trying to display it for sale. "No that one's a different one."

But yano, even with their anti-warranty bullshit you need to make sure they know that it wasn't theirs to throw away or take, and they need to hand over the case or the money it is worth.
