I think that's a red flag. I have a 800 dollar system (no vista/no monitor) I got from CyberPower INC. that is still running along with an upgrade or two along the road. They seem to be running a few specials, but be forewarned, all their computers are pictured with an LCD monitor regardless of whether it's included in the price. However, monitors much like IBM Model M keyboards, dishes, utensils, THE CLUBs, and anything else is probably available at your local Salvation Army.
If you're going to do gaming somewhere down the line, make sure to ask if it has a PCI-X or AGP card slot. My one friend who owned a dell/hp/something bought himself a high-end video card just to see that there was no AGP slot put on his motherboard. |
