I was thinking of making my own 4chan CS Source server. There used to be a good one (very few custom maps, a bunch of pretty funny custom sounds). It died a couple months back and is replaced with the biggest faggiest replacement ever. It's the something awful of CS servers. If you donate you get moderator powers. Every one of the moderators has banned someone just because they didn't like them or some shit (I haven't gotten myself banned, although I did get Jso's account banned for saying that the server sucks and leaving). The server is full of really shitty custom maps that are fuckin experiment goofing around shit someone actually released, like a big underwater room with a room in the middle and fuckin gay portals that distort your vision so you can't see shit. Other custom maps are shit like breakfloor, or the other cheap ass shit like that. The guy who runs it begs for donations all the time and bans people all the time too, but he runs a message board for the server so it is like the server is taking off. Also, AWPs and autosnipers are disabled on the server, because they are actually really serious business about fuckin CS and take it too seriously, unlike the previous server where you were supposed to goof around but still play.
I'd like to run an alternative to this with the funny sounds and no shitty custom maps and no moderating, like at all. However, I don't think any of those people would even play it because they'd just be like WHY IS THERE NO MODERATING, I DONATED GOOD MONEY TO BE ABLE TO KICK/BAN PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SERVER WHY WOULD I PLAY ON THIS? |
