You can. They have an agreement you can sign that gives the program permission to check if Lexpert is running and give you shit if it is, but of course you could counter that with a second computer.
Playing turbo solves a lot of this problem: the time spent transcribing tiles into the program will not pay off unless you get a bingo, and even then it has to be plausible (e.g. rack like FF_IEES looks promising but its only 7 is EFFEIRS, which no opponent is going to buy).
Apart from bingos, long words with one connection point (which is all the anagrammer can help you form) are usually weak moves: they don't score that highly and they open up the board for your opponent's next move.
