Perhaps it is just that this movie came after a long spate of fucking awful movies, punctuated by the botched abortion that is Malevolence. But Ienjoyed this blatant Pulp Fiction-Amores Perros ripoff thoroughly, primarily because the characters were likable, the humor was good despite being Englishy, and because of the first five minutes. If Colin Farrell in yet another movie doesn't interest you, I agree. But the first five minutes especially and his relatively bit performance throughout can almost exorcise the turds he's laid. Also, guy from 28 days later is not bad, and that old guy on the cover isn't bad either. |
