Story reeks of Warcraft 3; it's like they just took the human campaign and made an entire game out of it. It's also just about as long as the human campaign, the whole thing is like 11-12 missions. The missions are very short. I beat the last one in like 15 minutes using only two squads of infantry and a commander to kill the uber last boss.
More similarities to WC3 are the goofy looking cutscenes. Aside from the awesome intro, all cutscenes are in-game using the ground level camera to make everything look bigger and more detailed. The thing is the battles during games look fantastic, in cutscenes they look goofy. Characters flapping their jaws while talking look goofy. And just like WC3, units look like they're moonwalking (the Neil Armstrong bounding kind, not the Michael Jackson sliding kind) everywhere they go. |
