since i'm in between moving i've pretty much been camped out in my downtime at the local gamehall on the only two pins to be found on route sopranos and elvis

anyhow, so i was puttin' some scores up on sopranos and a guy asks if we could turn it into a bit of competition. so what the heck.


well, i'm doing quite alright and playing well, then he steps up and just manhandles the pin, we're talking slap saves and moving the pin a good 2 ft. left and right to save balls ( which i'm all for and don't see any problem with ) but he was virtually doing it nearly every time the ball just nearly came rolling a hint towards the middle. he hit everything on the fly and made most anything he was shooting for, with hardly ever cradling the ball.


he has the 2nd lock lit and ready to go, but drains ( me smiling to myself about my win ) THEN as the ball is draining he picks up the entire front of the pin and by doing so he tells me this will cause the 1st ball locked in the stugots to roll back and trigger the 2nd lock ball opto and start multiball.


afterwards we have a good laugh and he tells me he only plays the few pins on route that are at this location and has never thought of owning a pin.


had a high score of 800 million + posted on sopranos from a few days ago and was quite the location player.


not sure how he would be much on a pin that was set-up with a lower tilt and he wasn't allowed to manhandle the pins, but on HIS TURF i totally got my ass handed to me and my hat went off to him.


was a great experience and definitely an eye opener that i need to hit the weightroom some more since otherwise i won't be able to compete with these location only players :-)
