The Lions ended up taking Johnson at No. 2 and keeping him. Millen said he laughed at the rumored deal with Tampa Bay that included Bucs defensive back Brian Kelly going to the Lions.

"That came across somebody's Internet thing, whatever those things are," Millen said. "I'm not big on that stuff."


When I am 49 years old I plan on being worse at my job than anyone else in human history, for a stretch of seven years, coupled with total ignorance on whatever the world-changing technology of the time is. Flying cars probably. I'll have earned it, like Matt has. Good for you, Matt Millen. You're living the dream.
