Yeah, that was my bad in the original post, what assuming everyone knew Betrayal At Krondor is freely (legally) available ever since Sierra released it for free to promote the crappy sequel.

"Which sequel," you may ask, "Betrayal in Antara or Return to Krondor, the game-engine sequel or story/plot sequel, respectively?"

Antara was really, specially awful--pretty much everything that worked in Krondor worked much crappier in Antara. I never played the second Krondor game, but I assume it was crappy as well.


I never played Warlords 3, so you're on your own. What you can try is making a similar setup for your other game, just change the shortcut's target .EXE file, but I'm just telling you that--I don't really care if it works for any other game. It works for Krondor, and that is enough for everyone.

Oh, and I'm at chapter 6 now. My advice to the fellow powerRPGers replaying this game is to buy weapons enhancers and use them before every battle (e.g. use Athafain's Icer on the swords before every battle). From what I've seen, you'll never run out of money anyway, so as long as you have like 2 uses saved up for 'boss' battles, you're good.
