None of the universally-negative IMDB comments do this movie justice. It stars Jalal Merhi, ostensibly "an expert martial artist" and "an acomplished jeweler" who "is known to his admirers as Beiruit's Steven Segal." . Its two biggest selling points are a few minutes each of Bolo Yeung and Jamie Farr, neither of whom actually participate in any of the non-specific "martial arts" action going on (most of which consists of Jalal doing the splits, or doing the splits between two pegs in the ground, or doing the splits while balancing tea cups on his thighs(!), etc). A full review - hell, maybe even a Geocities tribute page - is coming once I track down a copy of the DVD. |
