| I hate Patch Adams too. He came to my school, recently, and I was very surprised and disappointed. He was arrogant, he yelled at students questions when he was asked to ACTUALLY PRESENT SOMETHING USEFUL instead of just bashing the system. He recited poetry randomly when people didn't ask him questions. He was NOT funny. He told bad jokes. The uncle larry example is PERFECT. Patch Adams has nothing useful to say about our healthcare system. The man said he does 4 hour patient visits. FOUR HOURS!!! He told us this immediately after he said we need to treat everyone in this country and have universal access. Ummmm... OK? You can't treat everyone if you're doing 4 hour patient visits. The guy is a hack. He's an idiot. He's actually a communist posing as someone who cares. His jokes, his speeches, they're all aimed at trying to make him look good and making Patch feel good about HIMSELF. He said to a student who questioned him that it is not his responsibility as an MD to treat lots of patients, but only to feel good about himself as a doctor at the end of the day. THAT IS FUCKING SELFISH!!!! WHAT AN ASSHOLE. ANYONE WHO LIKES HIM is either ignorant and haven't actually talked to/met Patch, or they're just as much as an idiot as Patch himself. | ||||
