| I wish this wasn't a C&C game because I am awful at it, and it embarasses my C&C legacy. I'm terrible. My recond is 2 and 4, and the two wins were against people who clearly sucked. One of my victims had built a crane beside his ConYard, as a monument to how bad he was. My most humiliating defeat came at the hands of someone who I out-produced all game, my post-game stats informed me. In my defence I don't know shit about that Scrin race. I don't know which buildings to quickly target, and I don't know which of my units are a good counter to his "blobby thing that shoots stuff". At one point he cast a TV distortion effect over his tripods. What do you do when that happens?
A huge mistake I'm making again and again is caring about tiberium spikes or laying claim to other tib fields. Everyone who beat me didn't even notice that I snuck an engineer into the tiberium spike and was cranking out $15 every second. They didn't even blow them up once they did notice. That would take precious time away from marching through my defences and winning. I am enjoying the quick match times, though. My losses are all under the 10 minute mark, and my wins were under the 20. |
