THAT would be the very reason why I insist a goddamned sidestep would help gameplay a lot. And by the way, for all I care they can just take their whole "shooting-dynamite-in-mid-air" stravaganza and shove it up their innovative ass, if having such a feature means I have to give up a control feature which has been working perfectly fine for shooters for the last 50 years or so.

Fot the record, I'll say I actually prefer horror games with good storytelling and/or scary atmosphere (Silent Hill, Condemned), but since RE4 is an out-and-out monster blaster, all I'm saying is that it might as well be good at it.
