Re: Venture Brothers has been reduced to a Kevin Smith routine by The Gaijin 02/14/2007, 12:46am PST I don't know--I mean I am the biggest Venture Bros. faggot in the world but something that made the 1st season so glorious was strangely absent in season 2. Brock went from being the psychotic live-in bodyguard who hated every bit of his job to Tony Danza. Dr. Venture was, at best, a tertiary character. Hell, Jonas Jr. had all kinds of potential but instead they just showed him once or twice to little effect. I'll still buy the DVD, but it just didn't have the same oomph.
