It's great like BSG.
Because you're totally right, man. I just watched the episode where they reveal who the mystery killer is. Happy to find my premonition right on that one (usually I'm wrong). Everybody I hang out with right now is completely hooked on it. Anyway, Showtime ordered a second season back in November, and apparently Michael C. Hall is up for a Golden Globe along with Hugh Laurie and Kiefer Sutherland. I have a sneaking suspicion they'll drag the main plotline out through the finale and leave us hanging somehow, though. Probably won't have as fresh a well to draw from once the material from the novel runs out. I like how Dexter's dilemma is portrayed in a way we can all relate to. I dislike how the show seems to have its little formula (suspect killer, research, kill killer) but I guess I shouldn't expect much more from television. To anyone unfamiliar with this show, it's about a serial killer who kills other serial killers. Try grabbing just the first ep from a torrent. If you do, you'll probably want to watch more! |
