no by Flavio 11/30/2006, 10:49am PST Expansion pack is out, which adds in simultaneous multiplayer turns. Might make it playable. There's a quick match option on ubi.com for a quick fight against online opponents. You pick a general and fight with "even" armies. That's where it kind of falls apart. The different generals and their armies are ridiculously balanced. One can get a super awesome ability and the other can get "zombies get +10% offense". They balance the armies by making them equal gold amounts, but each side gets at least one crap unit that's in no way worth the cost and the only reason you'd ever get it in a full game is if you have plenty of spare money and you've already hired all the other creatures. Sometimes they don't even bother trying to balance it by gold. Matches are usually people picking the same 3 most broken heroes over and over, going random sticks you with some turd who put all his money into crap units like zombies or squires.
