OMG did you catch the Fallout homage in tonight's Treehouse of Horror? by NMA 11/05/2006, 11:46pm PST Before the very last vignette (TOEE had these!) faded to credits, the camera lingered for a few seconds over a post-apocalyptic wasteland as I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire by the Ink Spots played on the soundtrack. As I'm sure Matt Groening or whoever writes the Simpsons these days knows, that was the song the designers wanted to play over the credits to Fallout but couldn't secure due to licensing issues, forcing them to take the less on-the-nose Maybe instead!
