I'd never heard of this game but there were a few people selling their copies on amazon. :)
The computer never does anything on the strategic map, so you're free to just sit back and build up to crush him at your leisure. You'll also have more fun if you ignore the brokeness of artillery.
I just want to see how it looks. I had dreams of making essentially this very game, translating the (ever changing, kind of crazy) rules to the computer. I got as far as the opening graphics (always start with the least important part, that's my motto) and a few test programs for tiny sections of the interface. Then I got bored and gave up.
Bonus stupid: the game was to be written in . . . Q BASIC. Har! |
