| After they got the okay from PC Games, German. But then I guess something happened, the scans were gone very quick. While they were up, there was a translated interview with Gabe, claiming that at the point he was told that "so far" HL2 had cost about $40,000,000, he said "okay don't tell me this stuff anymore."
Of course they'd only have to sell about 2 million copies to make it up. Plus if they coopt my great expansion ideas and sell them over Steam at PURE PROFIT. 8) Anyway I have those scans and they're all in German. Pictures of the crossbow, many new ones of Dog (so the surprise for that is spoiled for me, but holy fucking shit that part looks awesome). A tiny walkthrough of one single physics puzzle (or physik-leistungskurs), the new HEV suit, a decayed corpse with headcrab removed, and lots of benchmarking and German text. Oh yeah and the gravity gun pushing over a car with the repel beam. There's also a screenshot of newspaper clippings pinned on a board that have some of the backstory of what happened while Gordon was conked. And one shot of a manhack being fired via gravity gun at a combine soldier. |
