Gran Turismo: HD Classic and Gran Turismo HD: Premium by Fussbett 09/21/2006, 1:20am PDT
Everyone's upset about this: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3153775

Gran Turismo HD: Premium will have 30 (thirty) cars and 2 (two) tracks, with the promise of more downloadable later. Gran Turismo HD: Classic has 0 (zero) cars because you buy them online for around 50 cents. Tracks will cost between $2 and $4. My mind is boggling, since I feel this might be the turning point between enjoying a lifelong childish hobby and "getting too old for this", but I'll reserve my anger until the initial cost is revealed. If the game disc was free, for example, that would be something.

Don't forget that this is just a high resolution version of Gran Turismo 4, which makes it all funnier.

ToutSuite: ah, good
ToutSuite: nice and confusing
ToutSuite: it's good for you, though - two GT games to not play at once!
Sanitario666: Yeah, they're working hard to win me back.
Sanitario666: This is mind boggling to me.
Sanitario666: I feel like this is it, this is me turning old. I can't fathom micro-paying for cars in a game.
ToutSuite: yeah, but it's a game you already don't like
Sanitario666: But I used to like it.
ToutSuite: what if it was like, more levels for a robot-punching game?

...

ToutSuite: lots of people bought geometry wars
ToutSuite: but that's a whole game, I guess
Sanitario666: right
Sanitario666: I mean, the GT game should come with fucking cars.
Sanitario666: It's the point.
Sanitario666: "we've got 200 cars". That's the selling point of GT.
ToutSuite: haha yeah
