Every girl in the place had walked out the theater by the time DF was about 2/3rds of the way through their set (offended by dunts?).

Except the fat girls, of course.

That's fascinating.

Anyway, I went to see some other band that was really good, so good I was doing something other than keeping audience inventory. Too bad Koba didn't get to see that same band.

Herman had to superglue his finger at some point and we were all led in a chorus of HERMAN IS A CUNT.

It was a lot of fun. They sounded great and almost impenetrably loud. I wish I could have seen more of it, except I was behind the world's tallest moshers. Seriously, even their pet girl was 6'4", no joke. We were on risers and she was standing in front of me, and she still had an inch on me. All I saw was the back of her dumb head as she jiggled mutely, off beat in more ways than one, clad in a yellow butterfly t-shirt. I know all about the back of that girl's head - her unbelievably fine and thick golden hair, the twists she had pulled it into, her high cheekbones - she was rocking a Claudia Schiffer look, but with a longer nose. I was way too angry with her to hit on her. The guys she came with had several hot girlfriends and all of them, boys and girls alike, were retarded cunts.

But the show was not really for the erudite, emotionally distant, or arch; it was for retarded cunts having a good time. The band shone a spotlight on people who were being too unavailable - failing to stand in the upper section, for example. The girl who flashed her tits was given permission to sit down all she likes. They were awfully nice tits. When the band asked for a tit encore before going home they were politely refused. :(

Let's see - other theatre of the humans - the retarded cunt standing in front of me and saving a huge block of seats for his giant retarded friends during the opening acts. He was blond also and had bizarre and perfectly circular eyes that shone like jet beads in the underlight. I turned Zseni Medusa Glare on his giant stupid body blocking my view. He tried to ignore it, but Zseni Medusa Glare is totally unavoidable. You can totally feel my attack power ramping up. He felt it just like anyone else and tried to defuse the situation with a combination of affability, humor, and threats.

"I'm not going to stand in your way the whole time," he lied, turning to face me. "You keep glaring at me. Do you think I'm evil?" With luckdragonesque effortlessness he proceded with a monologue on this line. "Do you think I'm the devil? Do you hate me?"

"Not yet."

"What's THAT?" He bent over, unmentionably close. His ears were shot? Or was he that dumb?

"NOT YET."

"You COULD? YEAH?" He stood up again and gave me what he thought was a long cold look. With his freakishly spherical eyes it came off more like the decompression scenes from Total Recall. "Well I can hate you too."

I thought he was incredibly stupid at that moment. The thought must have shown on my face - maybe I actually sneered, I can't remember - but he seemed to think the discussion was over at that point and went back to blocking my entire field of vision with his stupid spinal column.

When Bro and I were discussing this clown and his clownshoe buddies, we could only shake our fists in the air fruitlessly and shout "DAMN KIDS!!! GET OFF OF MY DRAGONFORCE!"

80% of the audience was younger than me. Ouch.

Well the show was great. I don't know how to explain its greatness in any interesting way. There was a riser on stage with fans blowing up under it, so when the dudes stood on it their giant hair would fly everywhere. The LV could not hit the high notes and opted randomly for belting out the nearest note he COULD hit, or going for a severely underdeveloped falsetto. Herman made up for him by blazing up the stage with several very sexy guitars. I started writing awesome mental slash fic about him as a decadent Chinese lordling by the end of the show.

The keyboard guy got his own song in the middle of the show and started busting out handcore gabber with enormous keytar riffage. Nobody in the audience knew what to do. None of them, apparently, had ever heard a gabber track before in their lives. Note to Fussbett: this guy rocked the keytar on stage, shamelessly, awesomely.

I forgot to bring cash and could not buy a t-shirt. :( Will have to purchase through the website.

DDR highlight: invited to, and did, jump on beat for an entire 7-minute long 300+ BPM song.

I screamed myself hoarse and today sound like a sexier and more erudite Kathleen Turner.
