Still interesting, though.
Once you get past the "Can You Believe Some Teams Actually have LOSING Records?" opener, anyway.

Wow, stuff happened that nobody predicted? HOLY CRAP! I can't believe it, especially considering, as I mentioned before, that practically everyone predicted that this season would be exactly like last season.
What's funny is, pretty much all he mentioned was predicted by a lot of people. Wow, the Patriots and Jets would be good? Carolina would struggle (hey, I though they'd avoid it, but losing the Superbowl apparently does you in)? The Chiefs (bereft of defense) and the Titans (an injury-riddled miasma) might struggle? The Giants and Falcons, both under new, better coaches, might win games? Of course my favorite is, "And nobody predicted the Steelers would lose Tommy Maddox and then win four straight!" Why would anyone predict that? How is this season any more aberrent than last season? Unlikely teams making the playoffs (Seattle, Carolina, Dallas), injuries bollixing teams that should have done better (Atlanta, the Jets), and so on. I like how he left out the real surprising stuff, like Jacksonville.
