Punishing indiscriminate whim based downloading makes Oink efficient, which makes it fast. I am greedy and selfish when I can get away with it, but Oink has me tripping over myself to upload. Oink can temporarily make me a better man.
Oink provides for people wanting to quickly download a small number of files from its wide selection. To this end, its system allows it to do what many other warez sites cannot. It's no emule, but it's another arrow in the quiver for someone wanting to download shit illegally.
Do not expect too much from it. Could you find a slightly better way to get people to leave their torrents up for weeks on end? Perhaps, but that doesn't make what actually exists any less valuable. I'm not about to do anything to make illegal torrent transfers any more efficient and neither are you. We've got to roll with what we've got, and what I've got and you had is Oink.
Oink may not live up to its full potential, but I get what they are trying to do and I appreciate it.
