I tried this on a lark a few months back, and upon rezzing was immediately ported back to the spirit healer back in my original zone.

I swam around the other continent myself -- the Eastern Kingdom or whatever. To be more accurate, I swam around about half of it before saying FUCK THIS SHIT and hearthing out.

My friend just told me (via email) that they added a neutral flight path to Ratchet. That's interesting because, since it's Horde territory, how the fuck am I supposed to get to it? Might be worth looking into when I'm feeling foolhardy again.

Also, he informs me that Blizzard has several unfinished areas that they plan to finish in later patches. Sounds good! So nevermind about the Blizzard hate. Except for the broken monsters that you can't fight (and who can't fight back -- they just jump around unable to do anything), the lag-induced inventory weirdness, and the strange bit in the middle of your XP bar right above the arrow to switch between quickslot toolbars -- I try to hit that arrow and nothing happens because this useless thing on my XP bar is selected, not the arrow.
