Article surrounded by Target ads goes out of its way to condemn Target.
A radical, stylish, novelty-laden innovation I have personally come up with today: having more than two sides in an argument. The author of this column, addicted to the modish school of dialectical materialism so popular with the hipsters since 1945 or so, may not grasp the genius of my groove here, but I'm pretty sure I'm on to something way way new.
I'm a little partial to the way this guy lumps Wes Anderson films with lots of other stylishly useless things. He was only a few days behind my very similar insight. Except I was gracious enough to extend the red banner of utility to Wes Anderson films as-watched-by-people-who-aren't-me; Rob Horning is pretty sure that if he doesn't get it, nobody can get it, and there's nothing to be gotten anyway.
Also funny: the illustration of a "hipster" looks exactly like a more handsome version of the author himself.
