I located a place where I can buy a replacement for the one I use though, here. I'm currently typing on the black one at the top.
I came across one of these in my travels and keep it around for one computer that only has a USB keyboard. My BIOS states that it will emulate USB before Windows XP kicks in, but I don't believe its lies.
I don't remember if I said the Saitek Gamer's Keyboard was good. It's good. The programmable aspects of it are useless, however, and it always asks me to insert the CD when I finish booting Windows XP. I sort of wish I knew where the disc was so it would shut up. For every other system I've plugged it into, it does not ask for the CD. Recommended!

What's good about the Saitek keyboard? I've avoided their products ever since buying and subsequently smashing with a sledgehammer one of their joysticks. But that was several years ago, maybe they don't suck so bad now. Although the deal with the CD isn't very reassuring. |
