This is a good time to point out that yet another injustice of the ratio system is that the upload rate is entirely ISP dependent. I'm no scientician, but as someone who has BT'ed over three (3) ISPs, I'm qualified to use anecdotal evidence as fact. The FACT is that on some ISPs (even cable, depending on... voodoo?), the torrent uploads seem crippled. As crap as my Oink ratio is, it's only THAT high due to gains I made on another ISP. Same goes for my Empornium account. Any finished download would already be at a 0.8 ratio. Obviously it's pretty easy to get back to 1.0 from there, and it's also easy to wonder why it's so difficult for everyone else to get a positive ratio. Can't they just leave their torrent running for a week?
