We've got this tradition at UMass where we wait until the Red Sox lose their last game of the season, then almost immediately, thousands of fans gather outside to chant anti-Yankees slogans and burn stuff in protest, all while being overly confrontational with the police (who listen to the game from their strategically positioned squad cars to know exactly when the rioting is going to start.) I think Fabio has some footage somewhere of a riot from a couple years ago.
Oh, they also gather outside and riot when the Patriots lose. And when the Patriots win. |
