Ok, first of all, this is complete shit. Never did the thought 'This is like Star Wars. Durrr.' cross my mind. Only someone who thinks that they're the true reincarnation of the not even dead Lucas would think that. But now, on to proving you a freakin moron.
Many of your arguemnets state that in BGI, Sarevok, Darth Vader by you, is the main character's brother, and wants him dead. True. But Darth Vader never impersonated another person to get closer to Luke, and if you played the game, you would have seen that Sarevok changes his nature, habits, and even his name, which is simply Sarevok turned backwords, Koveras. He joins your party, and helps you. Then tries to kill you, without all that crap of 'Join me, like Father and Son' bullshit that Vader thought might work. He wanted him dead so he could take his power and become a god, not use mortals and troture them till they looked like his lover, Palpatine.
As for the characters that follow the main character around, such as Khalid and Jeheira, who are actually lovers, and not gay robots. They play no roll to the R2 unit that was constantly getting in trouble, nor were they constantly getting blown apart and repaired. I'll admit that Khalid became annoying at times, but he didn't complain to everyone all the time. When Khalid was found cut and maimed on a table, he was dead. Not 'Oh, we'll just repair him.' He was dead, nothing about it. Jeheira was crushed, and constantly got on the main character's case about minor things to vent her anger at Irenicus.
For Imoen, she, for one thing, is female, and not at all like the smugling Hon Solo. You could have at least gotton that part right. She rescued the main character at the begining of BGII, as she had just escaped herself, and needed help to leave, not 'I think I'll rescue my friend.' She was his sister, and friend. And no, she was not as Leia was to Luke. She grew up with the main character, and did not live a completely different life from him, as Leia did with Luke.
Cespenar, one of my all time favorite, and pointless, of characters. This character, an NPC of which you have no control over, acts nothing like the wise Yoda and does not attempt to teach the MC the meaning of life, how to jump with midgets attached to his back, or that Bill's ego is never too big to pick up. He was the servent, SERVANT, to the God of Murder, and helper to the MC. He made things out of the equipment you had with you, which helped you in the long rung, but had NOTHING to do with the main storyline. In fact, you could walk through the entire game without talking to him at all. He was pointless. Yoda, on the other hand, was needed by Luke, as he was a whiney bitch, and would never learn to do anything by himself.
When Luke was captured, and freed by his last minute lightsaber stunt, that was planning ahead. When the MC in BGII and the party, of which may not include anyone of the orriginal party at all, took the dragon eggs and replaced them with false ones, they new what was going to happen, and guessed not on luck or, as Obi-wan would say, 'The Force.' They had to, or the dragon would have killed them, and that was that.
When the MC and his party attack Bhodi's not-so-secret lair, as they have already been there before, they do not need the help of Drizzt, as that is completely optional, and you can always fight him instead of asking him for help. Bhodi, being the SISTER of Irenicus, and not a henchman in any way, was relying on her own power, as Irenicus was off elsewhere. As a vampire, many people hated and feared her in a way that tension would have been stirred into an assualt anyway, and she would have been killed by a mass of people who hated her kind. Such as the Shadow Thieves, of which don't seem to fit into your little messed up world, as you have forgotten to put them there.
If this were to be held as a true 'Star Wars' themed final battle, then Irenicus would have been the role of Darth Vader, as HE was the final battle in BGII. ToB had all the rest of the Children of Bhaal trying to overtake the thrown for themselves, and not one single enemy bore a resemblance to Vader of any kind. Irenicus, being the magical, 'Force user' if you will, madman at the end, should have beent the realizer of his 'goodness', but didn't, because he WASN'T Darth Vader, and only wanted power, not Father and Son crap. Sarevok's resurection was due to the kindness of the MC, and could have been refused, had the player so wished.
This semi-flexable storyline has you at a disadvantage and an advantage. For one thing, you may have chosed the most Star Wars-esque storyline you could think of, being the sore loser that you are and wanting of attention, so that you could write this up as if it were all a scam, and that someone should be sued. But since many people, who had been at least semi-inteligent, let me know if I'm using too big of words for you here, about playing the game, would have never noticed that such a thing was in the game, as it was more likley just a random occurance, and is more or less a logical ending for more than one story in a video game that exists today.
On a side note, I noticed some of the pictures you placed up there. Well, for one thing, you can't expect everyone to know what you're talking about when you mention BGII, and that even skilled players will know quotes from the game, espacially ones so small as the 'If there be no better?' That's called using unfair tags on people's minds, and it doesn't help your case against someone who played the damn game for once. |
