I finally finished watching BSG up to the end of season 2, no thanks to Josh Cable (who sucks dicks), and since I hate Lost, I think about the two shows a lot in the spirit of yin and yang.
Sanitario666: BSG really illustrates the horrible Lost plot progression.
Jhoh Cable: Instead of it being about the mystery it's usually about what people are doing. :(
Jhoh Cable: On BSG.
Sanitario666: A BSG writer would make all of Lost happen in one episode.
Jhoh Cable: That's how they would handle Lost.
Jhoh Cable: They wouldn't pad it out with boring flashbacks about nothing.
Sanitario666: Plus they would add a kilo fuckton of anti-BaseStar shells and vipers and raiders flying at each other in space.
...by the end of season 2, so much is happening on BSG that the plot cannot even be contained inside the hour of TV. Each episode starts off with a quick recap, PREVIOUSLY ON BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, and in the montage of past events you'll see new scenes and important plot points that happened BETWEEN THE EPISODES. BSG values our time. |
