NEGATIVE!
Sound quality is fine, and the price is low, but my first Creative speaker experience has given me the first computer speakers that I hate.
After 1 year of using the volume knob to adjust the volume higher (or occasionally lower) the wired remote has semi-broken. Turning the volume knob now sometimes produces the desired effect, but other times produces 30% of the desired effect, and I reach maximum knob turn without getting maximum volume. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T LEAVE THE KNOB AT THE MAXIMUM POSITION. At random the proper volume level will return in full force while you're not touching the remote. Touching the volume knob during these times will often result in an aural rollercoaster as the volume dips back down and up, despite the fact that I'm applying 1 nanojoule of force to the knob.
God help me if I want to adjust the volume just a little bit, because it requires that I press the volume knob (DON'T TURN IT! THAT'S TOO MUCH!) and roll a new random volume. Hopefully this doesn't trigger a new rollercoaster, but it often does. |
