Logical fallacy. With kids, the ex will always be 'in the picture,' even in absentia.

The real problem is that this particular ex is not over it enough to babysit when she's going on dates. At the very least she has to wise up and send the kid to his place, where he can't send e-mails on her behalf.

You're probably right that she's enjoying the drama, since she invited it into her house.
