For a long time this guy didn't stand out to me in any way, but I know he was on OMM, probably post-Fussbett. Just a solid infrequent contributor who didn't stir anything up... until he read an article authored by Hokie Mokie and called him a "fatuous fucking gasbag" for his thoughts on the blog boom. Both Hokie Mokie and Monty Cantsin were summoned to the thread from off-site and Lufteufel kind of admits defeat in his last post ever. In retrospect, maybe we can see that his final words point to his new home: Usenet. Or maybe he just changed his Caltrops nickname after that day. |
