Great, but I think I liked the South Park movie more. It's funny, but no soda spit take moments that SP had.
First half is a bit mellow and relies a bit too much on the visual gag that primative string puppets walking look funny. You know, the gag they used for 5 seconds in the South Park movie. In fact most of the gags in the first half are action movie cliches that have been parodied a hundred times before, only now it's with puppets.
Asians pronouncing their l's like r's is a hoot.
The first half has its moments, but it's about after the hot puppet sex that the comedy gold kicks in. Every scumfuck appeasement Hollywood pinko gets rightfully bashed (Susan Sarandon gets DESTROYED).
Pro- The soundtrack (montage! fuck yeah!). Best part of the movie. I'm picking it up as soon as it hits stores. Best listened to while playing the U.S. in Battlefield 1942/Vietnam
Con- Michael Moore not bashed enough. They took the lazy Zseni route and just called him fat.
Pro- The ultimate message is that the rest of the world should shut the fuck up and let America do its thing. |
