| I played B - 17 Flying Fortress for a while.
The game was bugged at the time of release (Although if you compare it to some of the buggy digestive byproducts of late you can forgive it.) but playable with all the patches. If you are interested in extremely hardcore flight sims. I can whole heartedly recommend this game. It does have everything. Since it covers everything from mission planning to the amazing simulation of the Norden bombsight you have so much to master. Sometimes I'd just plan the missions and set the squadron to autopilot for the 'Memphis Belle' effect, other times I'd just micromanage everything on board the plane from preflight to landing. I haven't played it in years but if my memory hasn't completely abandonned me the graphics should still hold up pretty well. And one last thing, don't even bother trying to play it without the manual and lots of spare time. THE SHNIBBULAR ONE, OOM |
