The crying is not over the hardware shift, it's over the performance claims made by Jobs when he announced the new Macs. Also, fuck them for crying about anything at all. My only problem with the Intel shift is that it's Intel and not AMD, at least for desktops. I am all over Intel for laptops though, and already have my preorder in. As for dual booting - I am COUNTING on the fucking thing being able to dual boot and will be disappointed if, ultimately, it can't. An apple spokesman last year, when all this was announced, mentioned that Apple doesn't support Windows on Macs, but will do nothing special to prevent it from being installed on Apple hardware. Why would they mind? they already took your money on the hardware sale and don't give a shit what you run on it, but with that disclaimer they sure as fuck won't have to support you when Windows inevitably .dll-rots and crashes on launch. Good for them.

As with most things, the most clueless faggots are the loudest ones and Apple queers are no more loud and clueless than Windows faggots are (scaled proportionally to reflect marketshare.)
