Oh man, I want all of those different script proposals to get made by athodyd 12/10/2005, 12:23am PST I really only woke up at about the fourth paragraph and I slipped back out again midway through the long list of different lead proposals for it but holy shit, there's like twenty different movies in there and one of them had a sassy gay robot. It may have even been a sassy gay robot assisting Tim Allen as Brainiac. In other superman news, I got the first issue of the new Grant Morrison/Frank Quitely DC All-Stars Superman and loved it, although your mileage will probably vary. If you can't put up with Morrison's fascination with weirdo ultrascience (which is luckily tempered by how he's playing to a much wider audience than, say, The Filth) and Quitely's apparent refusal to draw faces a tenth as well as he draws everything else, that might cancel out the goodness of the story and the characterization. It's off in its own little continuity that begins and ends with this series, which is good for me and anybody else who primarily reads comics through trade paperbacks or .cbr files and is only familiar with the Superman basics. There are a hell of a lot of full-page ads, though, and a lot of them seem to come right in the middle of something cool.
