Not liking Tom Waits is a mistake. Go find a track called "Chocolate Jesus" of Mule Variations and then your mind will be changed.
No, someone's tried that one on me before. I just don't like Tom Waits. And I do like Gackt! It's a horrible mistake, perhaps, but it's MY horrible mistake. I'm surveying Oink right now; here's what I would pick out:
Fripp & Eno: No Pussyfooting
MF Doom: MM Food
70s Soul Sessions, 30 Original 70s Soul Party Grooves
(dithering, indecisive on Billy Idol's Great Hits)
The pair of Infected Mushrooms albums, but they'd only get to stay if they behaved well.
Ditto for the DJ Honda stuff.
Ditto for the Egyptian Lover stuff.
Bob Andy's Dub Book (as revealed to the Mad Professor) 1999 mp3 192kbps (If someone ever posted the Secret of the Mix Tapes album(s), I'd squeal like a little girl piggy with joy.)
AnotherLateNight - Howie B [2001/mp3/VBR 192kbps]
VA_-_Dream_Dance_Vol_32-2CD-2004-MOD.torrent (unlike you, I'm not afraid to get down with trance. It's excellent and unobjectionable time-filler for work CDs. If I had a desk job I probably wouldn't have any use for it, but I don't have a desk job.)
And that about covers it up to the last thing I actually downloaded, which was Beastie Boys - Root Down-EP [1995/MP3/VBR]. You see the trouble with me? Can't see nothin', can't feeee-el nothin', etc. And the only things I'd get for absolutely sure are the Soul Sessions thing and Bob Andy's Dub Book and No Pussyfooting (because my existing copy is at 128 kbs.)
But I'm also going to take the bullet and buy a copy of Ki Oku and re-rip in FLAC for everyone's collected benefit. I'm not all bad, Hayt. I'm just a little eccentric. If you would stop riding my ass about Tom Waits, I might even attach that Lost and Found single to the Ki Oku rip. |
