Juh-howh Cable (8:38:04 PM): Moom is pissed off at us now. :(
Fussbett (8:38:18 PM): More than usual?
Juh-howh Cable (8:38:21 PM): Because she just found out someone has been stealing her state quarters, and she said "that's the lowest thing anybody could do."
Juh-howh Cable (8:38:30 PM): And if someone could steal her state quarters, WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY COULD STEAL.
Juh-howh Cable (8:38:33 PM): She actually said that. :(
Juh-howh Cable (8:38:50 PM): She's talking about paying the bills and insurance.
Fussbett (8:39:05 PM): Nothing is off limits to THE Cable Brothers' theivin' mitts.
Juh-howh Cable (8:39:37 PM): She's even more pissed off now because I laughed about it. :(
Juh-howh Cable (8:40:15 PM): And how disrespectful we are even though she pays for everything.
Fussbett (8:40:18 PM): Psh, tell her to lighten up already.
Juh-howh Cable (8:40:36 PM): Her state quarter placement thingy is on the kitchen counter but with only like 5 quarters in it.
Fussbett (8:40:46 PM): Give her a good solid PSH
Fussbett (8:41:08 PM): Hey man, remind her about those lawn chairs you painted to go see the Matrix.
Fussbett (8:41:19 PM): They sure as hell didn't paint themselves.
Juh-howh Cable (8:41:37 PM): It might be ungodly.
Juh-howh Cable (8:41:57 PM): She's acting really traumatized now.
Juh-howh Cable (8:42:18 PM): I told her we'd get her some new state quarters and she's like THAT'S NOT THE POINT
Juh-howh Cable (8:42:33 PM): Even though we did steal those quarters. ;-;
Juh-howh Cable (8:42:38 PM): Her quarter collection.
Juh-howh Cable (8:43:19 PM): She says if she can't trust us with her quarter collection then she can't trust us to live here.
Juh-howh Cable (8:44:07 PM): She's especially offended by the idea of me stealing her state quarters to buy cigarettes.
Juh-howh Cable (8:44:18 PM): We didn't though, we just got soda pop Cokes from the gas station. :(
Juh-howh Cable (8:45:09 PM): She'll probably want to lock the hallway door again tonight. :(
TehWinnarIs 4ch person (8:44:04 PM): why'd you take her quarters
Juh-howh Cable (8:45:22 PM): To get something to drink.
TehWinnarIs 4ch person (8:45:28 PM): Hahah
TehWinnarIs 4ch person (8:45:37 PM): theif the quarter project
Juh-howh Cable (8:45:41 PM): Yeah. :(
Fussbett (8:46:08 PM): So these quarters are worth 25 cents?
Juh-howh Cable (8:46:12 PM): She's walking around the house saying "I can't believe........................."
Fussbett (8:46:18 PM): But they're like... hard to get?
Juh-howh Cable (8:46:18 PM): Yes, they're state quarters.
Juh-howh Cable (8:46:21 PM): Tewt can verify this.
Juh-howh Cable (8:46:22 PM): No.
Juh-howh Cable (8:46:28 PM): I've gotten about 5,000 of them.
Fussbett (8:46:36 PM): I don't live in your "states", see, so I need info.
Juh-howh Cable (8:46:42 PM): :(
Juh-howh Cable (8:46:48 PM): They're just quarters with different states on them.
Juh-howh Cable (8:46:58 PM): One of the only ones we left was the Michigan quarter.
Fussbett (8:47:03 PM): So if you just live long enough, you'll re-amass the collection once again?
Fussbett (8:47:11 PM): By purchasing goods and services?
Juh-howh Cable (8:47:15 PM): Well I'm sure it would only take about a day or two.
Juh-howh Cable (8:47:25 PM): The thing is that they only come out with certain ones each year.
Juh-howh Cable (8:47:34 PM): So the Michigan one didn't even come out until 2004 or 2005.
Juh-howh Cable (8:47:52 PM): And coin collectors were apparently waiting eagerly for the brand new quarters to come out so they could collect them and place them into coin books.
Juh-howh Cable (8:47:58 PM): And I guess that's what moom was doing.
Juh-howh Cable (8:50:01 PM): It doesn't exactly sound like a collection of value does it. :(
Juh-howh Cable (8:50:39 PM): To Jsoh and I, we figure why would you gather a bunch of money, and save it not even to keep it for later but to just keep it in a cardboard sleeve so you can look at it?
Juh-howh Cable (8:50:49 PM): It's money.
Fussbett (8:51:18 PM): Explain to her that keeping money out of circulation actually hurts the economy.
Juh-howh Cable (8:51:20 PM): This won't ruin our sainthood will it? :(
Juh-howh Cable (8:52:43 PM): She'd just say IT DOESN'T MATTER IT'S STEALING AND IT WAS MY COLLECTION AND I WANTED THESE QUARTERS FOR MYSELF TO COLLECT BUT I CAN'T EVEN HAVE THAT FOR MYSELF
Juh-howh Cable (8:52:50 PM): And it's like, that's a pretty stupid thing to want for yourself. :(
Juh-howh Cable (8:53:14 PM): She was walking around the house yelling all these bullet points out to herself.
Fussbett (8:53:50 PM): You should leave user comments under her bullet points.
Juh-howh Cable (8:54:03 PM): I just pretended I didn't know anything about it.
Juh-howh Cable (8:54:17 PM): Because if I was like YEAH I STOLE THE STATE QUARTERS then she'd call the entire family and the police.
Fussbett (8:54:25 PM): Just shout "ANONYMOUS SAYS: keeping money out of circulation actually hurts the economy."
Juh-howh Cable (8:54:29 PM): She used to threaten to call the police on us if we left the house at night.
Fussbett (8:54:41 PM): And then tell her your IP number. |
