I'm sure the disembodied voice thinks he's being helpful, but he could be much MORE helpful. His mealy-mouthed, ghostal suggestions when I was getting my ass kicked by the first colossus seemed more like netherworldly taunting. I got my bearings together quickly for the second one and Obi-Won provided a great PSH moment in 2005 by reading off fortune cookies when I already had the situation under control.

I haven't encountered the third colossus yet, but after dispatching one with each of (... actually, I don't know the protagonist's name, so I am just going to call him Ico) Ico's weapons, SotC has given me that feeling that I can handle anything. I really enjoy games that do that and immediately turn such confidence against you. I bet it's going to take me 100 tries to get past Bachelor #3.
