Indigo Prophecy: Everyone's saying how this is an awesome plot-driven cinematic adventure game, but that phrase has usually meant shit in the past. Truth?

Psychonaughts: I'm interested in this one for the sole reason that OMM's Erik worked on it. I'm hoping he did a lot of the writing, because honest to god Tim Schafer is not that funny. Grim Fandango was his only game that approached amusing, but that was mostly due to the main character's voice actor's delivery rather than any of the actual writing.

X-men Legends 2: Thr original was okay, but it kind of wore on with the boring early levels (sewers), the levels going on too long, the aimless wandering trying to find objectives, the instant kill spike pits that didn't belong in that type of game, the limit of 2 enemy types per level, and the fact that out of all the powers you could choose from, the most effective were always the ones that just made your basic punches do more damage. I got up to the start of the carrier level with all the sentinels where it looked like it was about to pick up, but had to return it to the store by then. Does the sequel improve at all?

Dead to Rights 2: I loved the original, except for the gay minigames and melee segments. Every professional review I've seen bashes the sequel, despitre the fact that they apparently really cut down on the brawling and minigames.

Evil Dead: Regeneration- Evil Dead games usually suck, but this one looked like it had promise. All the reviewers hate it, but these are the same guys who complained that Devil May Cry 3's cutscenes were "too goofy", while in the same breath praising the genius of Hideo Kojima.

Suffering 2: Not out for 2 more days, but I'd love to hear an opinion if someone picks it up. The first one was probably my favorite horror game since Fatal Frame, but the previews looked like they were cooking up a disaster. TEH HORRORS OF POVERTY...despite keeping all the same prison execution themed enemies from the first game. A haunted prison vs. the slums of Baltimore? Limit of two weapons at a time? Fuck realism, and fuck YOU, Halo. But you can also boil it down to the fact that, with the exception of Resident Evil 4, horror game sequels have ALWAYS sucked compared to the original.

Mortal Kombat: Shoalin Monks- A Mortal Kombat game that ditches the homework assignment list of special moves/combos and turns it into a Final Fight beat'em up with simple Smash Brothers moves and God of War like fatalities? This sounds sweet.

Rebelstar: Tactical Command- Laser Squad Nemesis for the gameboy. Problem: the single player LSN campaign was dreadfully boring, and despite Mischief Maker's thrill at actually winning a game (then eventually managing to lose it), it came quits around the 50th time your guys did something stupid thanks to the 10 second rounds (or as I like to call it, "virtual lag"). But hey, this game goes with tried and true turn based action points, and it's only $20. Another problem: every interface outside of the main game in LSN was a barely working rushjob mess despite having 3 years to work on it.
