You unlock it at level 5. Took me less than two hours to get there, but I understand your point. Thankfully, Burnout Revenge allows you to transfer saves, unlike Burnout 3, so you can download a "everything unlocked" save from the internet before you even buy the game, if that's your thing.
I'm at level 7 now, but I'm taking a break for some Ultimate Spider-Man, which, incidentally, suffers from the same problem of "mandatory boring races" as Burnout Revenge.
Finally: I will reiterate my love for the Xbox version and custom soundtracks. Playing any other way is simply inexcusable. |
