FLAC files by Ice Cream Jonsey 09/23/2005, 11:03am PDT
I put my copy of Yes' "Fragile" down in my car for a second and it wound up with a huge scratch on it. I swear it's like I'm carting around a school of wolverines sometimes. Anyway, that gash made it the most appropriately named disc in my collection since the incident with the snow tire and Styx's "Pieces of Eight."

The thought of not having access to a track like 'South Side of the Sky' was troubling -- not as troubling as the thought of buying the disc for a second time or anything, but still -- so I grabbed the CD from Oink the other night. It's in something called "FLAC" format, which research tells me is lossless.

Anyone know how I can burn it to a blank CD? There was a plugin for Nero that claimed it could do the trick, but it did not work when I tried to point it to the included .cue file.
